Privacy
Your details stay with the order.
This policy explains the information we need to reply, make a piece and deliver it. We do not sell personal information or use it to send marketing unless you ask us to.

Who is responsible for your information
We are an independent online studio operating from Colombo, Sri Lanka. We do not have a shopfront. If you have a privacy question or want to make a request about your information, email hello@shakees.shop.
What we collect
When you contact us or place an order, we may collect your name, phone number or email address, the recipient's name and delivery address, the occasion, the date, your message for the card and the details needed to make the piece.
Our custom order form can also collect your preferences, budget, notes and an optional inspiration photograph. We collect only the details needed to discuss, make and deliver the order.
How we use it
We use your information to answer an enquiry, prepare a quote, make and deliver an order, arrange payment, respond when something goes wrong and keep the records we need to run the studio properly.
We do not use your details for a mailing list unless you specifically ask to hear about new pieces.
Cookies, analytics and a saved draft
The custom order form saves an unfinished draft in your browser so that a closed tab does not erase what you wrote. That draft stays on your device for up to 30 days, or until you submit the form or choose Clear draft.
We do not currently use analytics cookies. If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising cookies, we will ask for your permission before they run and update this policy to name the service involved.
How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry for up to 24 months after our last contact. We keep completed order and payment records for seven years, unless we need to keep them longer to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute.
We delete an optional inspiration photograph when the enquiry or order is closed unless you ask us to keep it for a future order.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or withdraw permission for optional processing. Some records may need to remain where the law requires us to keep them.
